It's Bob and Larry

Who doesn't love the Veggie Tales? Bob and Larry were in town at Lifeway Christian Bookstore this weekend. I had talked to Emma about going earlier this week and totally forgot about it until she mentioned it to me on Saturday morning. We love hanging out in our pj's on Saturday so we hurried and got ready and made our why to see Bob and Larry. We pulled up to the bookstore and she saw them through the window. She couldn't wait to go see them. We walked in and made our way to the back of the store, she insistently turned her shy side on. No way were we going to get to close to them and shake there hand. She wasn't going to have it any other way. She turned around and whispered to me Mom take there picture, so of course I did and she was done with them. They had other activities there for the kids to do - games, coloring, balloons, and even face painting. We waited in line so patiently for our turn and she was so ready to get her turn. We talked about what she wanted on her face and all she could think about was getting that butterfly. So we sit down in front of the very nice clown who was wearing purple hair and she kindly asked Emma so do you want to have a butterfly or a princess? What little girl doesn't want to be a princess? I honestly was surprised that she even let the lady paint on her face.
Isn't she a pretty princess?

We had a great time and then went to have lunch.

Night Night sleep tight...

My day start at 6 and ends when I make it to bed, but by far the best part of the day is on the way to school and putting Emma down for bed. She has a thing for school buses in the morning. She wants me to chase them. I hear a sweet little voice in the back seat telling me, "Mom drive faster" or "be careful". It cracks me up that she loves the buses so much. Then at night when I am putting her down for bed it's so sweet. I read her a story last night and we then turn off the light and began to say our night time pray. Randomly she says "Mommy what about Uncle Josh?" I comment back and say what about him. She replies"what is he doing? and do you think he is sleeping with his "titty tat"? Tonight it was I have a crazy Uncle Nathan. She is so smart and picks things up so quickly. She loves her Uncle Nathan a lot and she had to call him. So as I tucked her into bed- night night sleep tight!

Out with 2010 in with 2011

What will this new year bring? Who knows, but I am praying for a lot less sickness and a lot of happy blessing. Seems like 2010 had enough sadness in it to last us awhile.

Here is to new resolutions-
1. To keep up with a blog, not so everyone in the world can read up on us but to have some good memories for Emma. I have been really bad about keeping up a baby book, so I thought maybe this would be a great way.
2. I want to learn more
about photography. Kevin bought me an awesome camera and fixed up my computer to do it all.
3. New house - hopefully
some time this year will bring us a new house, but until then we will be happy where we are at now.
4. Family vacation - I keep telling Kevin I want to take a family vacation so that is one of my goals this year.

Here are two pictures of Emma from this last year one is from January and the other is from December. She is growing up to fast!!
